Today is a big day! The new kindergarten students for next year are visiting tonight :) But we are very busy, as usual, learning and working on things that are hard for us. Here are some pictures from our day.
We have been working hard on mastering beginning sounds in simple words.
Today we practiced our last DONE CHOICE for the year (a choice students have when they're done working). It's Read A Book! The kids LOVE, LOVE, LOVE reading and looking at the pictures in non-fiction books. We get into all kinds of interesting discussions.
We played a game today that helps us practice segmenting and blending sounds in words....the first person to get 4 cards is the winner!
