We started a new month, which means a new Chicken Soup with Rice poem! Please continue to work with your child on reading and writing numbers up to 20 (or higher).
Our number of the day was 24!
We are learning all about Martin Luther King Jr. They are such a fun class to teach. They really understand it well, considering their age. It's hard to find the words that make sense when you're talking about something like segregation...but I think they are understanding what an important man he was, how respected he is and how he believed that love would be the only answer to the problems of the world.
A BIG congrats to Carson and Nayeli for earning their counting stars!
