We played a new math game today called Headache. It's a super fun game and they were so giggly and excited to play it! Here you can see that Nora is in the middle of Gabe and Eve. She puts a card on their foreheads so they can't see their own card. Then she adds the two numbers together and tells them what it makes. They see who can figure out what their card is by looking at their opponents part. So FUN!!!
This would be a great game to play at home with each other. Just use smaller numbers (0-6) until they master those.
We also practiced measuring objects in our room with cubes (non-standard unit of measurement). They loved this too!! They had to make a prediction or a guess first.
