Well, I was a little nervous (like a kiddo!) to come back to school yesterday with a new name and everything. I am SO impressed with how the kids did. I was shocked! They were calling me Mrs. Cota with no trouble.....I, on the other hand, will definitely struggle to get used to it. Weird.
Here is some of my first beautiful art projects made for me with my new name :) Very cute!
We are learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a very smart man who wanted peace between people. He changed laws that weren't fair. We read this book yesterday to help the children understand what fair really means.
We played a super fun snap word game with partners too!
