Alivia had big news the other day! She learned how to tie her shoes and her parents bought her a brand new (beautiful) pair of tennis shoes to practice!!! Way to go!!!
Then, to top off it, she was VIP :) Lucky girl!!!
Miss Vermeulen made a new and very fun math game for our class. It's called 3D shape bingo!!!

So, yesterday, this school was in from out of town (Fort Worth) to play SDSU. They came to talk to us about working hard and going to college. It was SO cool!!!!
Miss Vermeulen taught us about inferring....a new reading strategy!
We made guesses about what could be in the mystery box. Then, with a few clues, we figured out that it was dice!
Today we worked on long and short vowel sounds!
