Today we spent a LOT of time talking and talking and talking! We have to learn how to line up, walk in the hallway, play, get the teacher's attention, what the teacher's name actually is, and school or cold milks! Goodness....of course there is an endless list of what we talk about and practice these first couple of weeks...so I will not be surprised to see a few tears here and there. We did talk about being brave in the morning, finding a friend and giving Mrs. Cota a big hug!
Today we got our new markers inside of our new pencil boxes!
Our class new a lot about markers. They knew that they would dry out if you didn't snap the lid on, that there is dye or ink inside, that you should match up the lid with the color, etc. Wow.
Our first snack! We learned that snack is never a toy and it's a fun time to chat with neighbors :)
We also had our first choicetime! I thought this was adorable. Skyler really wanted to read a book and he was sitting there reading away all by himself! Too cute. What a role model!
