Working on parts of 10 (which, by the way, is a 1st grade standard!)
This morning we passed around our potato plants. We talked about how scientists make observations. So we don't want to say, "It's growing." We want to tell about it's size, color, shape, etc.
We started our window gardens and continue to learn more about germination!
I'll post more pictures tomorrow once they're all hung! We will get them down every day to make observations in our window garden books.
Today we read, That Is Not a Good Idea, by Mo Willems (love!). It's SO cute! We did NOT read the ending. The children wrote their own ending....by inferring what might happen from clues in the rest of the book.
