This morning we wrote a morning sentence together....during interactive writing! They're doing a great job with finger spaces and snap words!
Brayden is our new ER/IR/UR chunk expert....along with Ariana!
Our math problem today was about using what we know about the number of sides on 2D shapes to figure out what Mrs. Cota had in her pocket! We are starting to have some TERRIFIC mathematical talk between partners.
I'm going to add Jace and Braylee to the "How Did You Do It" math wall for questions they asked their partner!
My tricky question for them was about the last solution that does NOT have a hexagon. I asked them, "Why DOES it work?" They figured out that the two triangles have 6 sides, just like one hexagon!
