Tangrams! Oh the joy of tangrams....they are such a good way to expose kids to geometric shapes, vocabulary and thinking. Today I flashed up quick images on tangrams on the smartboard, while they tried to build them. They are super hard! For example, there are three sizes of triangles!

Dawn came to visit us today...for Junior Achievement. Look how she "meets and greets" us....as we practice shaking hands, and greeting someone with polite manners.
She taught us about choices.....
So it was fitting, that at the end of the lesson, we had a choice to either take a gift of sunglasses or a sucker!
