A Special Surprise...

Today...I came to school to see this most wonderful and special surprise! I will be leaving RFP to teach part-time 1st grade at Robert Frost next year.  This will be my FIRST year out of kindergarten! It's a super emotional time and I'm so thankful to have some of the best co-workers ever!!!
I had to bring in my kiddos to see how thoughtful the teachers are at our wonderful school. I might even share my Milk Duds with them :)

How Was Your Mother's Day?

Some of my most FAVORITE 5th graders (who used to be in K02) came back to visit kindergarten and enjoy some time together :) LOVE these kids!!!! They've grown up to be wonderful humans! They all still have their unique traits....just like they did in K! Best part of teaching!

Awww! A homemade card, AND a K workbook, AND a Starbucks treat?! You rock Danika! Thanks so much sweetie!

Today we wrote stories about different emotions we've felt and what made us feel that way.

We are also continuing to build teen numbers. We want our children to see that teen numbers are made up of one set of 10 and extra 1's.
