This morning we read, Cherries and Cherry Pits! It's such a fun book about a little girl who creates imaginary stories as she draws....and this lovely fruit is included in every story! There is a lot of repeating text in the story too....so as we drew our cherry trees we were saying this over and over......eating the cherries and spittin' out the pits.
We had our first day of scientific observations! We got down our window gardens and wrote words/drew pictures to tell what has happened so far. (not much)
