This morning we played a really simple, but fun game to practice harder snap words. Two friends play together and sit side by side. They sit facing opposite directions. One friend reads a snap word from the smartboard and the other friend writes it. Some partners were keeping score :) :)
We also learned our new math game for next week! It's called....Fill the Hexagon. Ask your child what is special about a 2D (dimensional) shape. We had some very interesting discussions about the sides and points/vertices on our shapes.....and which shapes would fit in the hexagon and which shapes wouldn't.
Okay....so we earned an art party this week (5 cheers). YAY! Here are some before and during the arty party pictures for you to enjoy! It was SO fun!!!!
This class is especially talented at playing together and cleaning up :)
