Happy Friday!

This morning we wrote and drew about a new learning word: Martin Luther King Jr. Then we played a game where I give them clues and they find the learning word that those clues describe!

Some extra (and challenging) handwriting practice! Doesn't it look great?

As we continue on our shape journey...we wrote a class book where we each turned a shape into a picture! I just love when they use their imaginations like this! Very fun!!!

Emily made a domino :)

A dust bunny! Hahaha! Only kindergarten kids and Jan Thomas fans will understand :)

As you can see above...Marshall wrote 'cr' in crocodile. He is now a chunk expert! WAHOO!!

Today we each got a brand new tool, a magnifying glass, to help us ZOOM in and look at the first letter in a tricky word---and say the sound. We call that SOUND POWER!!

Danika finally reached her goal and got her star. SHE IS SO EXCITED. Can you tell?? ;)
