Wonderful Wednesday!

**REMINDERS**

Fundraising order is due tomorrow.
Pumpkin Patch money is due by Friday ($4)

This week we gained a new student.  Our class is now 22 wonderful kindergarteners!  With this addition, we have gone back to basics.  We have been working at procedures and how to treat others.

If you get the chance, read the book: Hooway for Woodney Wat by Helen Lester.  It is a very cute book about a rat who could not produce his "r" sound.  It reminds us that everyone is different and that is ok.  We are trying to remember our friends' feelings and that what we say can hurt.

We have also been looking at attributes of objects.  We were looking at tub of balls.  These are just some of the words we came up with to describe the balls:

We used size, color, shape, as well as our 5 senses to explain how each ball is different. (Just like people!)

In reading, we continue to look at books that are right for us.  While this might seem like a long process, we will be able to explain why each book is right.
