Text to Text Connections!

So it started with Ike. He brought, Blue Hat Green Hat. This reminded Avery of Rhyming Dust Bunnies because Bob always gets rhyming wrong in that book. In Ike's book, the turkey can't dress right!

Then....Haleigh made a connection during Daily 5. She thought her Dr. Seuss book had characters similar to those in Rhyming Dust Bunnies.
In Rhyming Dust Bunnies we meet Ed, Ned, Ted and Bob.
In Haleigh's book we meet Red, Ned, Ted and Ed.

Then.....Katie made a connection with the character Red. It reminded her of her own red hair!
