This morning we kicked off our back to school day with a coffee house/poetry reading...very fun! You would really enjoy reading their poems. They are a talented group of poets. We had coffee (hot chocolate and marshmallows)--or water.
In math, we talked about representing how many students are in our classroom. I was happy to see how they organized their thinking and could explain it (counting by 2s, 1s, 5s and 10s!)
