Happy Friday!!!!

Today we practiced running our finger under a hard word, saying each sound and then blending the sounds together. Please encourage your little readers to do this at home!

Here are our morning sentences from the whole week! We are working on so many things that writers can do....like 'stops' or punctuation. When we read a sentence with a question mark, we raise our voice. We are also learning about putting a space between each word. One other thing...it's super important to only capitalize the first word in the sentence, unless you're writing someone's name.

We also re-practiced this DONE choice for when we finish work early. Technically, kindergarten students only have to know how to read 20 snap words....BUT, in my opinion, my highest readers can usually read at least 40. I always test pass the 20 words that are required.
