Welcome back!

On Friday, Yoseph ended our morning sentence with a ...
so today, we added more! It is AMAZING to see them starting to write sentences during writing time. They use a lot of snap words like I can, we can, I see, or I like. So it's super important that they learn these words and that they can use them!

Nora wrote the word gray in the morning sentence so we tested her and she knows the 'ay' chunk!

We reread a beloved book, From Head to Toe and it helped us do some shared writing about things we can do at school! Look below! Reagan just couldn't wait to see the seashell that Gabe brought and so she wrote a story about it!

This story is unreal Reagan. WOW!

Still working on sorting during math time! Today some sneaky person messed up all of our math tools! AH! They helped me organize them. We did a museum walk to see if we could question each other and explain our thinking. Some friends would quickly ask, "How did you sort?" Then they would walk away without listening! So typical for kindergarten. So we had a discussion about making sure you 'look' at their work and listen to what they say.

WOWZA. Our handwriting is really improving!

Look how cute my pumpkin looks on my desk. THANKS Clara!
